Story telling

My girls have started writing a story together. K does the writng and L is the illustrator. Their story is set during the time of Paul Revere's ride (yes, my oldest is also a history lover). It is about a young deer (did I mention it is Historical Fiction?LOL) whose father is a minute man and goes off to fight against the British. I am so impressed by what they have so far. The pictures my youngest has drawn are so detailed and well thought out. I love seeing them express themselves creatively.
.
Speaking of creative expressions, I have another Emma's project to share with you today. I created this stationary and gift box for this month's workshop. You can find all the instructions and supplies on the Emma's Paperie blog along with the other designer's amazing workshops.

We will be spending ours at a swim meet. Wish K luck! She has only one second to drop in her 50 Breast Stroke to qualify for Divisionals. I am so proud of how hard she has worked to get this far.
.
Have a great weekend!
