Full House and Valentines sweets

Yesterday was a busy day. The girls stayed with a neighbor while I went to the dentist. I just couldn't put it off any longer. I was supposed to go on Friday but cancelled due to the snow day. The rest of the afternoon was lovely though. I just adore having all of these sweet little neighbor girls over. They came for lunch and stayed until dinner. The kids spent a fair amount of time playing outside but then warmed up inside, giggling and running around. Love that.

Today they have a two hour delay and then I will be helping in the computer lab. I thought I would post a quick Valentine's project for you first. It was really quite easy. This was the first time I attempted the chocolate lollipops and I have to say, I was quite happy with the way these turned out. I did mess up one batch, I think I cooked the chocolate too long. I used the melting chocolate from Wilton and they are very yummy too. As for the container I simply painted a paper mache oval box with brown paint and covered it with pattern paper. The ribbon is from Webster's Pages and all the tags are from Making Memories. You can find all the supplies on the Emma's Paperie Blog.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
