We decided when we found out that we would be moving that we would try to keep everything as normal as possible for the girls. I though, "no big deal, I can do that." Lately though I have felt like a juggler with way too many balls in the air. I am just waiting for one of them to fall. Besides trying to get the house ready, I need to get everything in line for DD's Valentine's Day party at school next week and get volunteers in line for the school carnival. My sweet realtor keeps finding houses she thinks I might like and has been sending me a billion e-mails. I am volunteering at school again today for the program I wrote about yesterday and I have to meet with the moving people and another realtor tomorrow. All this and DH is out of town all week. The worst part of it is that I feel like it is affecting my mothering. I have not been the most patient mother these last two weeks and this morning I found a paper for yearbooks. It was supposed to be turned in last week. Of all years, my kids are going to want one this year. I plan on going up to school and begging today. :)
Anyway, thanks for sitting through all that whining. As a reward, I have another project for you today. We were challengedon the Emma's Paperie blog to use these boxes from Creative Imaginations.
I have used these boxes several times (love them!) so I decided to change it up a little bit. I turned the flap backwards to open it up a little bit more.
Thanks for stopping by today. You all mean so much to me! :)

I don't know how you do it...everything you create is just perfect and gorgeous! It amazes me every time I visit your blog! lol.
Don't beat yourself up too much about the mothering thing. Mothers are just people--usually people who are trying to do way too many things at once for everyone in their lives. It is so clear that you love your girls and spend so much time making wonderful memories with them and for them. That is what is most important.
God Bless you guys through this move and everything and good luck at the school!
Very pretty Lisa! TFS!
That's a very pretty project. Moving is just hard, it's overwhelming and turns your life upside down. Sending you wishes for patience.
Hang in there! You are only human this will pass.
hang in there, Lisa! The school should be able to get you a copy of the yearbook -- most of them order extras anyway, because they always end up with people who decide they want one once they've come in. As for the rest of it, you're only human. Take it easy on yourself -- you've got a ton going on. And you know what? This will roll right off the girls -- kids are adaptable, and a lack of patience is one of the things they are so quick to forgive.
((HUGS)) you know what sweetie cut yourself a little slack you have a lot on your plate right now. It's okay to practice saying "no" so you can take care of yourslef thru this whole process. xo xo xo oh and your procject is DARLING as usual.
wow - that is a lot for one mama to handle! thinking of you!
Lisa, I am the same way! We moved less than a mile away and I'm still trying to adjust to a new house/new neighborhood. It's harder than I ever imagined! It has been a stressful year that's for sure. It's hard to act normal when there is so much going on. Have you put your house on the market yet?
Lisa - this is sooo adorable!!
Love the box! ((Hugs))on all the stress.. moving is the worst!
wow!! that box is amazing!! I love everything!!
Hugs to you...I completely understand! We are just one person doing a dozen things at once most days.
