A sickening crunch

Yesterday the girls and I decided to head down to the IMAX theater (one of our favorite things to do in the summer) to see the Lions 3D movie.

The movie was wonderful and afterward we spent an hour or two at the Indiana History museum. That was my first time there and I was REALLY impressed with all the hands on stuff they had for the kids. We ended up leaving without seeing the second and third floors because we had spent so much time on the first floor.

THAT IS WHEN IT HAPPENED... I have not had an accident since I was 16, well one that was my fault, and I have been proud of my driving record. That all changed as I was leaving the parking garage. I had parked between a wall and a cement pillar-a nice safe place where I wouldn't get any dings, or a least that is what I thought. I was trying to be so careful backing out of the spot because I couldn't see due to the wall. I was concentrating so hard on checking to see if there was traffic coming that I completely forgot about that cement pillar. Yah, the one that was keeping my car nice and safe. Then came the crunch. This is what I found:

I really could cry. We have been trying to figure out how we were going to pay to replace my camera that got lost while we were on our trip and now this. My mom has a saying that bad things come in threes and sometimes you just have to wonder. I got home and shared the news with Greg and found a message from the place that was going to fix my printer. The printer head is out and it is going to cost $197. Anyone want to join me for drinks? My house all afternoon. LOL

On a brighter note, I did get some cards done last night after the kids went to bed.

I used a bunch of punches on this one:
And created this wedding card using lots of Die Cuts With a View goodies:

Also check out the Emma's Paperie blog to see some new projects! They are absolutely yummy!

Hope you have a fabulous day!

I know exactly what you mean with that "crunch" sound! I haven't had it happen often, but once is enough!!! Maybe it won't take too much to make it look better! LOVING the cards.

Oh no on the crunch! Hope it isn't too expensive to fix. Love your cards. :)

Oh No! I have a boo-boo on my car. My neighbor's son did it backing out. And I was ALMOST home safely in my driveway.

Well - if that is three, then I guess you are done! so sorry!

So sorry to hear about your car! I would be crying myself. Hope everything gets worked out soon.
Your cards are so darling----they made me smile.
