Love this girl

I am feeling old. :) Well, not really, but how did I end up with an nine year old??? One of the things that I absolutely love is that the girls ask us to tell them a story every night before bed. True to their personalities, Lauren wants a made up story and Katie wants to hear a true story about when she or I were little. One of her favorites is how as a new mom I loved the fact that she loved fruits and vegetables so much. So, being thrilled that she loved blueberries let her eat a whole carton. Hmmm...not such a good idea when it came to diaper changing time. What can I say, she is a nine year old girl. This kind of stuff makes her giggle. As her mom, I just love to hear her giggle, so I tell the story. :) Anyway, I love these stories because it helps me remember all those goofy little stories. Kind of like scrapbooking does.

On that note, I created this layout about Katie and her loves last year. I wanted to always remember this stage in her life. She has very unique loves for her age. She adores science and I really hope that continues as she gets older. Anyway, lots of American Crafts goodies on her along with a little bling. What do you expect, I am the mom of two girls. :)

Have a great day!!!!
