That is just Wicked!

I have to admit, I am excited that Halloween is only two days away! DH usually takes the girls trick or treating and I get to stay here and see all the cuties that come to the door. I have been in full gear getting ready for DD's fall party at school and creating a few things for their teachers. I got a card and gift finished last night. I have had a blast using all my Halloween goodies I ordered from Emma's. I filled a glassine bag with chocolate kisses and made a Halloween wrap for it. I have simply fallen in love with all the Crafty Secrets tags. YUM-O.

I also used some of my older papers to make this card for my youngest DD's teacher. I was inspired by a challenge on the Card-a-licious blog this week to make a shaped card.

Ohhhh, now for some other Halloween goodies! Did you know that the Paper Crafts Gormet book goes on sale on Oct. 31? You can find both amazing recipes and adorable projects in this book. The To-Die-For Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits by Alisa Bangerter are one of the many recipes you can find in the book.

Seriously, you have to try them for yourself! Here is the recipe:

2 c. flour
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/4 c. milk
Chives (optional)

Mix together dry ingredients. Cut in butter with pastry cutter until mixture is fine. Add cheese and mix well. Add milk and stir until just moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Sprinkle top with chopped dried or fresh chives if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.

And if you are still looking for tag to add to that last Halloween project how about trying this tag also by Alisa.

Adorable isn't it? Simply follow these easy directions:

SUPPLIES: Cardstock: (ivory) Dye ink: (Black) Stewart Superior Corp.; (Summer Sun) Stampin’ Up! Specialty ink: (Mango Lemonade color wash) Stewart Superior Corp. Color medium: (black chalk) Craf-T Products Accents: (black brads) Making Memories; (chipboard bat, moon) Melissa Frances Fibers: (black striped ribbon) Pebbles Inc. Font: (Black Family) Adhesive: (foam tape) Finished size: 3" x 4 1/2"

1 Make tag from cardstock.
2 Crumple tag and smooth out. Spray edges with color wash; let dry. Apply chalk.
3 Ink chipboard moon; let dry. Chalk edges and adhere.
4 Ink chipboard bat; let dry. Adhere with foam tape.
5 Print sentiment on cardstock; trim and tear edges. Chalk edges and adhere with foam tape. Attach brads. Attach ribbon with brad.

I think I need to go find one of those biscuits. I am getting hungry. :) Have a fabulous Wednesday!

Hi Lisa!! How are you, girl? Love, love your Halloween projects! That witchy boot is SO fabulous! How clever you are! And I love the little cello package, too. And now I've got to go eat because those cheesy things are making me famished!

I love it all Lisa! I have to admit that I'm excited Halloween is in t-minus 2 days too. :) Your projects are putting me right into the spirit of things too.

On another note, how sad for your daughter having nightmares. What a terrible feeling to have someone break into your stuff, you feel so violated. Hopefully your talks will soothe her. (They say putting fresh flowers on your nightstand while you sleep gives you sweet dreams), I've always wanted to try it. Maybe give it a try and see if it helps.
