Lots of Bling and Flowers

Hope everyone is having an amazing day.
.
So I got this fun photo above of DD and some of her friends at the pool and decided to make it my new blog header. That sort of lead to a whole new blog design. I would love to know what you think. Too blah or just right?
.
We had a very nice weekend this weekend. DH and some friends took a trip to New Orleans for some needed guy time. It has been a long time since he has spent time with these guys and it was a well deserved vacation. So it was just us girls this weekend. I took K and L to a show on Saturday. When we got home the neighbors were playing outside on their new Slip 'N Slide. Yah, it took about 5.3 seconds for my kids to change into their suits. How come I can't get them to move that fast before school? LOL
Hmmm...can you tell which of my children is my clown???

After sliding around for about hour or two we rushed out the door to L's gymnastics award ceremony. I have to say I am very proud of my girls. They are both such positive, considerate sweeties. Proof for my little one came last night at the ceremony. She not only got a medal from her coaches for Best Attitude on her team she also got that big, honkin' trophy for the Team Choice Award. Her teammates voted for her as the athlete they thought was the most encouraging, positive and great to have on the team.

Thursday afternoon we K had an early birthday party. One of her closest friends will be gone for her birthday so we decided to celebrate this week. We took a six of her friends to a water park south of here. The girls had a great time spending the evening on the water slides and relaxing on the lazy river.

I have a few projects to share with you today. The first is one that I designed for the Creative Charms blog. All flowers and beautiful bling is from CC and you can find a complete list
here.
.

The second project I have to share is a wedding card I did for Emma's Paperie. You can find the supply list and all the other designers' gorgeous wedding projects here.
.

I am so thankful for all of you for stopping by my blog. I hope your week is amazing.

Sounds like you guys did have a ton of activity and fun over the weekend. Love all those photos, and congrats to your DD for her gymnastics trophies! Way to go! And I for one, love the new blog look and header. That header was the first thing I noticed and I just loved it.
And beautiful scrappy projects, Lisa! The framed love project is so sweet and the flowers and butterfly are so pretty. And the wedding card is so elegant. Great color combo and design, and how fun to see the Webster's vintage sparklers on there. Just gorgeous.

Lisa, I LOVE that frame! And congrats to your daughters--that's the best award to win! Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog! Seriously, though, I may need to lift that frame design--where did you get the frame?
