Sports weekend

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was quite busy, trying to get a few things in before the girls start school. I can't believe that school starts on Wednesday already. There are mixed feelings around our house about this. L is excited to be starting school. Can't wait to find our who her teacher is and who is in her class. K on the other hand, is not excited at all. She would rather summer never end. Me? I am in the middle. I am going to miss having the girls around but I am also ready to get back to my school year activities. I signed up yesterday for a Bible study at our new church that starts in September. I am hoping that the girls' teachers are open to having volunteers, especially K's. As she gets older I know there will be fewer and fewer opportunities for me to see her with her classmates.

This weekend we took the girls to Colts training camp. They had their Colt's city set up for the kids.

There were bounce houses and a rock climbing wall. Some of the cheerleaders were out signing autographs.
..............

Then we watched a scrimmage between the defense and offense. K is such a sports lover and was really into the game.

I even got some good pictures of our man Peyton!

Yesterday after church we drove up to Indianapolis to catch an Indians baseball game. We still had tickets from the cancelled 4th of July game. It was quite hot but we had seats in the shade and the game was good. I just wish we would have won. :)

I've got a couple of cards to share with you from the Card-a-licous blog for today. For the first challenge Janelle gave us was to use a baby card using ribbon and stitching. Here is my card:
The challenge for this weeks card was to use a journaling spot, ribbon and flowers.
Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by!!!

awe I know what you mean - sad part for me is that I start school the same day my dd starts so I wont be there for her first day - boo!

But what a fun day at that camp!

I sure hope the first day of school went well today. I know what you mean about having mixed feelings over the start of the year. We've still got a week and a half, but I'm already missing the thought of lazy summer. My son had to attend his high school freshmen orientation today, and it all kind of hit home that it's almost over.
Looks like you all had a blast at the Colt's training camp. How fun!
Love your Cardalicious cards, too,my friend!
