How much is too much?

Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you are staying warm!

I heard yesterday that ticket to the Inauguration were being scalped for $1000 or more. At first I was thinking that was way too much money but then I started thinking about it. How much would you pay to be part of history? I won't be hopping on a plane and paying a scalper $1000, that's not counting how much rooms are going for. But it definitely would be cool to be standing there as Obama is being sworn in. So if you had a chance to go, how much would you be willing to pay?

As promised, I have another layout to share. These pictures make me smile. I guess to me, finding their dolls in the sink just represents childhood to me. I am so thinkful for their wonderful imaginations.

It is a little hard to tell from the picture but I added glitter letters in the title and a matching glitter frame around the journaling. You can click on the photo to see it better.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have great day!

Well, I just have to say that you won't see me at a presidential inugration anytime soon. Not that I wouldn't what to be a part of history I just dislike crowds.

Now, if it were me and only a couple hundred other people then I might attend. How much would I pay? Not more than $100 for the tickets. Their suppose to be free!!

First off, I wouldn't want to be at the inauguration either. Crowds, yuck, it's gonna be COLD, and he wasn't my candidate anyway, although I will support him in prayer just the same,
BUT - I wanted to say how CUTE that lo is! I love it! My dd has 3 AG dolls that she adores, and you've inspired me to get some more pics of her playing with them to scrap!

Hi Lisa! Love the layout! How cute that is. My daughters love their American Girl dolls too! I don't think I would go to the inauguration either. Too cold! Too many people too! I am from DC though, but live in Pgh. now.

Have you read any good books lately? I would love to get some book recommendations!

I'm canadian, but i am still thrilled with what is happening to your country! Even though i wont be at the inauguration, i like to think i am part of history just by being alive when it happens. Kinda like "where were you when Kennedy was shot?". Now it'll be "where were you when Obama became president?" Awesome!

What an adorable layout. Love your paper choices, and those pics are priceless!

As for the inauguration...I would LOVE to be there. Being a history teacher, it is right up my alley. $1000 is a bit too steep for me, maybe a couple hundred. I guess I'll be watching from my living room!

Love the layout and that the dolls get to go to the spa. maybe I should be one of your girls' dolls, because that's the only way I'll get spa treatment for awhile. Which leads me to paying to go to the inugration. Well, if I could afford it I would pay $1000 and maybe more. He wasn't my candidate, but no matter who it was, it is part of history so I'd want to see it if I could.

Those photos bring back so many memories! My sister and I loved to bath out dolls and wash their hair which didn't always turn out so well!!! CUTE!
