Happy Birthday to my Sweet 12 Year Old

Hi everyone!
.
Playing a bit of catch up today.  Sorry for being MIA so much this summer.  It has been a busy, busy summer.  This weekend we celebrated this sweet girl's 12th birthday.
.
.
We decided that with her being so involved in sports and now being in Middle School we would get her a cell phone as her birthday gift.  Needless to say, she did not put it down all weekend. :)
.

.
K decided she wanted to do a mall scavenger hunt.  Since we are so new to the area she only invited a few friends.  It was the perfect party for a small group.  I created a list of things to find at that mall and they had to take pictures in various places and buy a few things.  They each bought a bag of candy at the candy store, a ring from a jewelry store and got some photos from the photo booth.
.
.
Some of the other stops on their list included a photo on a lawn mower at Sears...
.
.
and wearing sunglasses at Justice.
.
.
.
We then got a cookie cake for the girls.
.
.
I have a couple of cards to share with you also.  I created both of these cards for Emma's Paperie.  You can find the supplies and other designer's amazing designs on the Emma's Blog

My daughter just turned 12 last week on July 7th! That sounds like a fun party! She would also love a cell phone, but we say our girls have to be 16! Yes, we are such mean parents!! Haha!

Hey there, Lisa! Happy, happy birthday to your sweet girl! She is so beautiful, and looks so happy. Both your girls do. That birthday party idea was just brilliant. So much fun.
And how beautiful your cards both are. You KNOW how much I love that vintage style. Absolutely stunning.
