Magistical Memories Monday

Happy Martin Luther King Day!
.
"The quality not the longivity of one's life is what is important." -Dr. King
.
What a wise man. Our world is definitely a better place because of the quality of his life.
.
I have some projects Magistical Memories projects to share with you today. I did both of these last weekend at my retreat but have not had a time to post them yet. I have one more I completed last night that I need to get a picture of as soon as this lovely fog lifts. :)
.
Anyway the first is a Halloween layout I finally got done. I have been meaning to scrap these pictures for well over a month. I had them printed the last time I went scrapbooking up in Indy but never got to them. This is definitely one of my favorite Halloweens. I love that the girls were interested in designing their own costumes this year. It is so much more fun than buying princess costume after princess costume. That grin you see on L's face was there the whole night. I decided that even though it was nowhere near the time she should be wearing dangling earrings it wouldn't hurt just for her Halloween costume. She was in heaven! And where to begin with K's costume! We had the best time creating her frazzled housewife outfit. She played it up too. Makes me grin just thinking about it! Then of course there is the fact that they got to go trick or treating with the sweet neighbor girls.
.
I used the one of the bats from the Gone Batty set from Magistical Memories. I also used one of the nested circles. Love those!
.
I also created this card using some yummy MM chipboard. I painted one of the Fancy Bookplates and placed it over a card from Webster's Pages, then trimmed the edges.
Speaking of Magistical Memories, make sure to check out their blog. Crystle has been posting the new chipboard pieces and I have to stay I am excited to get my hands on these. They are fabulous!
.
Also, if you are a chipboard lover make sure that you check out the DT call. You can find all the details here..
.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous work, Lisa! Love how you used that bat and circle on your page, and the bookplate on your card. The Webster's journaling card looks awesome behind that bookplate!
Have a great day!
