Breathe Deeply

Happy New Year everyone!!!
.
We had a REALLY nice visit with DH's family but I have to admit, I am ready for a little R&R time. The kids had off yesterday and we spent the day relaxing and running errands until gymnastics and swimming in the afternoon. Today, everyone is back to school/work and it is time to get things back in order. Lots of sheets and towels to finish washing, Christmas presents to put away, and projects to finish. Hoping it will be an efficient day.
.
I wanted to share a couple of projects with you today. The first one is a layout I did for a recent CK call. Got it done yesterday just in the nick of time to submit it. The call was to use only paper and cardstock. I have to admit that this was a challenge for me. I love to add my "stuff". LOL Each of the strips of pattern paper measure 4 inches wide (the first page got a bit cut off). I added pop dots to my stars to give them dimension and created my own ric rac using my wavy rotary cutter.
.

.
The second project I have to share is a sketch I created for Emma's Paperie. I am sure that I am not the only one that has a LOT of Christmas scrapping supplies left over. I decided to put them to good use to create my thank you's this year. Here is one of them:
.

.
You can find the sketch and supplie list on the Emma's Paperie blog.

Make sure to also check out the Magistical Memories blog periodically this month. Crystle is posting a new chipboard release everyday and they are amazing. Just love the cute cupcake she posted today. Also, if you love chipboard, make sure to check out the Design Team call!
.
Time to get something done around here. Have a fabulous day!

I love that Thank you card. It is just adorable, and you are right. It would use up a lot of those leftover embellies.

Cute page! I love it when you share your beautiful layouts. Your talent always motivates me! Plus the fact that I have three girls close in age to yours (mine are 6, 10 and 12) so I get some great ideas from your pages.
