Feeling Disjointed

Morning Sunshine!

Despite my title I am loving our new home and new city, although I have not been out much yet. I do have to admit though, I am feeling a little lost. Most likely, it is the result of not feeling a strong connection to God right now. We have not found "the right" church yet, I am not involved in a bible study and have not taken much time to pick up my bible. I need to do something about that.

I am also a very social person and have not made a real friends yet. I know that will come in time but right now I am feeling lonely now that kids are at school.

As for school, I happy to say that the girls really seem to be enjoying their new classes. They come home talking about several different children in their classes, love their teachers and have had a very positive attitude about everything. I can't tell you how thankful I am for this. I truly believe that their school experience is an integral part of how they view living in Bloomington.

Anyway, as promised, I have another project to share with you. I created this layout of my sweet niece. I still have a zillion and three photos (only a slight exaggeration-LOL) of my girls but there is something special about scrapping baby photos.

Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

Ahhh, Lisa. I can truly relate to what you are feeling right now. Due to my fiance being in Atlanta and me being in NC, I am living the life of a nomad. Because we aren't consistently in either city, I haven't settled into a church home either. Work interferes with my old Bible study group and I haven't found another. Just wanted you to know I will lift up a prayer for you that you will feel connected again soon. :)

P.S. LOVE the layout!

Because you are a social person, I know in time, you will find your connection. Glad to hear your sweeties are adjusting well. Love your layout! God Bless.

Lisa, that's a beautiful layout! And I felt the same way after we moved. Problem is, we just moved less than a mile away. But I miss our beautiful old neighborhood, and all my wonderful neighbors. I don't know many here yet, but they aren't the same as my old neighbors. Also, this neighborhood is new, so no grass, no signs of spring. So, I know how hard it must be for you when it's hard for me, and I really didn't "move". That's great that your kids are doing well!

She is adorable! I hear you about being lonely during the day, it's hard and we've moved so much that I seem to always feel that way for a while, until right before we move again. LOL
