Dreary Monday

Bleckkkk, it is raining and wet. That is not going to be able to get me down today though! I am so excited. I get to go meet a new scrapping friend for lunch and a little shopping.

I have a quick card I want to share and then I am off to go walk. I created this card using a chipboard owl from Magistical Memories. He comes with that cool scallop and the branch. I simply turned him upside down. I created his feathers by cutting up some paper flowers from Making Memories and inking the edges. I then layered them on the lower part of his body. I added the crystals around the outside to give him a little bit of bling (because EVERYONE needs bling!) and then gave him some googly eyes for fun.

Have a fabulous Monday!

Hi Lisa! It's pretty dreary here too. That's how most of Nov./Dec. is in western PA. But we had a beautiful sunny weekend! The sun sure does put me in a great mood! I wish I had your happy spirits on a dreary day! What a cute card! I can't wait to start scrapping after the holidays! Have a great day!

How cute your owl card is, Lisa! So clever to turn that chipboard piece upside down. That just made me smile so big. Love how you made his feathers, too.
Hope you have a wonderful time at lunch! And I just gave you an award on my blog. Hope you come check it out!

Oh for CUTE!!!!! I wish I could tell you it's dreary here, but it's Southern California and, therefore, it's pretty much 74 and sunny :) Believe it or not, I would welcome some "weather". Happy Thanksgiving!
