This was definitely one of the best weekends I have had in a LONG time! We got to spend time with so many of our dear friends and I was not ready for them to leave. We celebrated this sweet girl's birthday on Saturday.
.
.
L's best friend and her parents arrived Friday night from Bloomington. We had such a great time hanging out with them. Saturday morning some of our sweet neighbors from our old neighborhood came. After spending some time with them at our house we all headed over to the skating rink.

.
Then one of L's closest friends from her old gymnastics team showed up.
.
.
Two local friends were also able to make it. :)

The skating rink that my girls are taking lessons at fills one of the rinks with tons of bounce houses during the summer. So the girls were able to bounce in the bounce houses after skating for a while. (sorry the pictures are not fabulous)

And then our sweet birthday girl blew out her candles, and we had cake and opened presents.

I have two projects to share with you today that I created for Emma's Paperie. The first is a summer canvas I created for our summertime assignment.
.
.
This second project was what I came up with based on a sketch by the fabulous Anabelle O'Malley. You can see the sketch and supply lists for both of these projects on the Emma's Paperie Blog.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today. I hope your week if filled with love and joy!
