Morning all!!!
School is winding down and I have to confess, I am not sure that I am ready. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about having the girls home but there are still so many things I need to get done!
My sweet DH fixed my computer problems last night (fingers crossed) and so I hopefully will be able to keep internet connection. It has been driving me nuts. So hopefully you will be seeing a few more posts from me, although, I do plan on hanging out with my sweet girls ALOT! :)
Have you had a chance to see the new CK book Easier Than Ever book? I got my comp copy a couple of days ago and I have to say, this book is fabulous! The work in here is amazing, with large two page spreads so you can soak in all the details. Here is one of my layouts from the book.
We had fabulous trees in our yard at our last house and the girls would spend hours raking up the leaves and jumping in them. Love these pictures, they just scream childhood to me. I created the large bracket on the left by enlarging and then printing a digital label from 2 peas. I simply printed it right on my background paper and then cut it out. Let me know if you want more information about the labels. My e-mail is in my profile. I also added a few stitches on the felt to give it a more homey feel.
Got lots to do today. I have several assignments calling my name but first I need to finish up one more teacher gift. Hope your day is amazing and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Memorial Day!
I wanted take a minute to thank all the military personnel for all that they do for us. It such a difficult job that so many of us take for granted. I am so very thankful for all that you do to keep our country safe!
I also wanted to tell you about a great sale Cindy is having over at Emma's Paperie today, 15% off of your entire purchase. Make sure to head over there and check out her amazing store.
Speaking of Emma's, there is a new sketch up this week. This is my first time creating a card sketch for Emma's and I really had fun with it. Here is my sketch:
And here is the card I created using the sketch. Make sure to check out the Emma's Paperie blog for a list of supplies and to see what the other amazing designers did with my sketch.
Have a fabulous week!

Warning, busy day ahead
Morning everyone!
So much stuff on the agenda today. I really need to catch up on laundry (the piles are taking over my laundry room), get to the grocery, drop a project off at my LSS, go to the cleaners, recycling center and post office. Man I am tired already! :)
.
I do have a project I wanted to share with you though this morning. This week's challenge at Emma's Paperie was to make a project using rub ons. I found these great little packets of coffee in the Dollar spot at Target and decided they would make great gifts. I used a white mug that I also found at Target and simply used Fancy Pants rub-ons to decorate the front. The tag on the card was also created using rub-ons. I plan on making one more for the girls' teachers.

Happy Monday!!!
Hope your weekend was wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed ours. Friday night after the girls were done with their practices we took them to the gym for parent's night out. Gotta love those date nights. DH and I even found "THE PERFECT" loveseat and chair for the room off of the kitchen. We want it to be relatively casual since the girls use that room the most. K loves to sit in there and do her homework and they both love to sit there to read. This is the furniture we found for that room. I thought we would go with leather since it is right off the kitchen, but I fell in love with these pieces as soon as I saw them. Aren't they pretty?
..
Saturday night the girls had friends from their old school down to spend the night. Their moms' brought them down and we drove them back home on Sunday after church. The 3 hour round trip was definitely worth it. I have to admit, I think we got the better end of the deal. We got to see these sweet girls having so much fun. Thought I would share a few of the pictures.

Yes, that last photo is quite out of focus. You don't know how hard it is to get these two to sit still for a photo. LOL
.
Thanks for stopping in today. Please check back tomorrow. I have a teacher gift idea to share.

Sporting thoughts
Happy, happy Tuesday!!!!
One of the things I did when I found out we were moving was checked into a gym for L and a swim club for K. I can't tell you how thankful I am that I did. Their schedules have always kept us rather busy (how did I end up with children that chose sports that practice so much???) but it is so worth it. Both girls have started to make some good friends and it really seems to have helped them settle into the idea of living here.
.
I decided I needed to scrapbook a few of L's gymnastics pictures. They are definitely not the best pictures I have ever taken. The gyms tend to have really bad lighting we have to sit so far back. That doesn't change the fact that she lives to do gymnastics and it needs to be a part of her book. I used lots of my favorite stuff on this layout. All the chipboard is Magistical Memories. The die cut paper is Melissa Frances, Prima rhinestone flourishes and some Scenic Route goodness.

The love of children
Good Morning everyone!
.
I hope all of you who are mothers had a fabulous Mother's day yesterday. My in-laws came into town and we had a lovely weekend. My sweet DH got me a new photo printer. :) Mine died before Christmas but we had quite a few big purchases around that time and the printer had to wait. I have missed printing my own photos. I can't wait to hook that baby up! :) My sweet girls got me a back massager. :) I wish you could have seen their smiles when I opened my package from them. That look is what makes being a mom totally worth it!
.
Speaking of my girls, I created this layout last week using one of my favorite picture of them from our trip. Cindy gave us this awesome picture to use for inspiration.
.
.
Here is what I came up with. You can find all supplies and the other designer's projects on the Emma's Paperie Blog.

Another busy, but wonderful weekend here. Saturday the girls both had playdates with friends from school. Sounds like they both had a blast. After picking up L from her friend's house we took the girls out to dinner and then went to see the movie Earth. We really enjoyed it. The girls gave the movie a 9 out of 10. Their favorite part being where the sweet little ducklings were learning to fly. :) Another new church visit (still not sure which one is THE ONE) and then dinner with some neighbors. All in all, quite a nice weekend.

It is project day over at Emma's Paperie today! Wahooooo! Love project day! :) I can tell you that the designers DID NOT disappoint again this week. WOW. Bea-uuu-ti-ful projects. This week was designer choice week with instructions for all the projects. I decided to decorate one of these cool Kraft Wine boxes. Here is the project I created.

I am off to take my sweet cat to the vet. This should be fun (please not the hint of sarcasm there) LOL Have a spectacular week!
